Firefighters Stained Glass

In 1924, Memphis Fire Fighters of the St. Thomas Catholic Church purchased and dedicated this stained glass window. This stained glass window was designed and created by Emil Frei, founder of Emil Frei Art Glass. Emil, orignially from Germany, established his studio in St. Louis, MO where he crafted glass for many of the largest and most beautiful churches and cathedrals in the country.

It is now on display here at the Memphis Fire Museum for all to see!
