The Fire Museum of Memphis will host the 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony of 9/11 on Friday, September 11, 2026. Service begins at 0830 AM, but it is highly recommended that you arrive early as we are expecting hundreds of people to attend. The museum will offer free admission on that day and our gift shop will feature commemorative items. Light refreshments will be served afterward. Please join us and remember those who died in the attacks on America on September 11, 2001.
The Fire Training Bureau is located at the Chester Anderson Fire Campus at 4341 O. K. Robertson Road in the Frayser area of North Memphis. Firefighter/paramedic's training begins at the Memphis Fire Training Academy as a Firefighter Recruit. At the academy, they will learn real-life skills to become and improve their firefighter abilities, including but not limited to:
The Memphis Fire Department’s Training Academy campus offers state-of-the-art training to over 1600 Memphis firefighters. The training is a college-accredited EMS school where students earn their licenses in EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic.
