Special Event Space Rental Information

Make your special day a one of a kind experience for you and your guests. The Fire Museum of Memphis offers numerous options for your business meeting, anniversary party, wedding, or any other type of celebration you are planning.

2 Areas Available to Rent

Hold your Special Event in the Banquet Room or the Courtyard.

For the biggest of events, you can rent both areas.

Banquet Room – 2nd Floor

  • 3,500 sq. ft.
  • Maximum Capacity 120 people
  • Tables and chairs to seat 120 people

 

After hours and weekend rental costs:

  • $1,800 For 4 hours - $900 due at time of booking
  • $2,000 For 6 hours - $1,000 due at time of booking (Does not include set up time) Set up can be done the day before if the room is available. $500 Nonrefundable cleaning fee required before the event.

All parties must conclude by midnight. Any party that goes past midnight will be charged $250 per half hour.

 

Weekday Business Meeting Rental (Between 9:30am-4:30pm):

  • $500 For 4 hours - $250 due at time of booking
  • $700 For 6 hours - $350 due at time of booking
  • $250 Nonrefundable cleaning fee required before the event

 

Nonprofit Weekday Only Rental (must provide proof of 501c3) (Between 9:30am-4:30pm):

  • $500 For 4 hours - $250 due one month before the event
  • $700 For 6 hours - $350 due one month before the event
  • $250 Nonrefundable cleaning fee required one month before the event

*Weekend Rental will be at the regularly listed rates.

Courtyard – Outside

  • Maximum Capacity - 150
  • 4 Hour rental and 6 hour rental available
  • Fire Museum does not supply tables and chairs
  • Only available after museum regular business hours.
  • Set up time is not included in the rental time.
  • Set up can start up to one hour before the event, but not before the Museum's business hours are over.

 

Costs:

  • 4 Hour rental: $650 with a $325 deposit required at the time of booking.
  • 6 Hours rental: $975 with a $475 deposit required at the time of booking
  • Clean-up and Security fee (required a week before the event): $400
  • Museum 1910 building open during event: $100
  • Both buildings open during event: $200

Important Information

  • If alcoholic beverages are to be served, bartender or caterer must be licensed to serve alcohol.
  • The museum DOES NOT have a license to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Red Door Members must make all arrangements, pay deposit/fee, and be in attendance at event to receive discount.
  • Museum is not responsible for clean up of facility.
  • Table cloths available for an extra charge.
