The Fire Museum of Memphis will host the 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony of 9/11 on Friday, September 11, 2026. Service begins at 0830 AM, but it is highly recommended that you arrive early as we are expecting hundreds of people to attend. The museum will offer free admission on that day and our gift shop will feature commemorative items. Light refreshments will be served afterward. Please join us and remember those who died in the attacks on America on September 11, 2001.

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the Fire Museum of Memphis received a generous gift from the Belz Foundation of Belz Enterprises.
Belz President Ron Belz and Vice President Jack Bearden visited us at the museum and presented a donation check in the amount of $22,500 - $7,500 over each of the next three years.
This generous gift will support the Fire Museum of Memphis and its important work in our community. The Foundation recognizes the museum as an essential community resource, educating thousands of children each year about fire safety and prevention.
The Belz gift will help fund the cost of admission for 1,500 children visiting the museum in each of the next three years, ensuring more young people have the opportunity to learn lifesaving fire safety lessons.
We are forever grateful for partners like the Belz Foundation who continue to invest in education, prevention, and the safety of our community. Pictured are Memphis Fire Chief Colin Burress, Ron Belz, Jack Bearden, Museum Curator Bill Adelman, and Deputy Chief Fire Marshal Lapacus Faulkner.
