This week is 9/11 Memorial Week. Although no formal service is planned for this year, the Fire Museum of Memphis will display a wreath in honor of those killed in the attack on America on September 11, 2001. Feel free to come by the museum and reflect on that day, especially the 343 New York City firefighters who perished at the World Trade Center in New York City.
I had the good fortune to visit Ground Zero last year with my son, Scott. It was a tremendous experience that I highly recommend all of my fire service friends to go see.
